These are real words from biology, but, given their dismal # of Google hits, they need to be popularized.

An alloparent is an animal that serves as 'caretaker' for young that are not its own offspring. The term could be extended, in obvious ways, to overburdened professional couples' nannies who are, well, more than just nannies.

The act of absorbing one's opinions and/or values passively - from religious dogma, political party platforms, family/peer influences, and the like - with little or no conscious thought and with absolutely no critical thinking.
